About Me
Julie Storey
My passion for interior design and construction is in my genes. I have three generations of architects, engineers, general contractors and artists in my family. I've been around it my entire life in one way or another.
I became professionally involved in design and construction 15 years ago when my husband and I began purchasing and renovating homes as investments. In this role, I learned every aspect of the design and construction process: from space planning and design, city planning and permitting, budgeting, managing contractors, as well as selecting and procuring fixtures and furnishings. I later enhanced my skills in this field by obtaining my real estate license.
The exposure and recognition I received from the investment homes I designed and constructed, ultimately generated an expansion of my business to include working with other clientele to provide design consulting and project management services for their residential and commercial construction projects.
Prior to being actively involved in design/construction and real estate, I was a public relations associate with Burson-Marsteller. I graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science from Cal State University, Los Angeles.
